Program for:
Coping with anxiety, stress, and post-traumatic stress
Is this right for me?
Living under continuous stress or after exposure to traumatic events leaves a deep mark on the body and mind.
Sometimes it is difficult to explain the feelings in words: restlessness, a sense of disconnection, difficulty falling asleep or relaxing.
The Steadfast in Spirit program offers a unique way to deal with symptoms of trauma and stress - one that does not begin in the head, but in the body.
What is this about?
Steadfast in Spirit is a unique practice program built specifically for those dealing with symptoms of anxiety, stress, and post-traumatic stress.
The program is based on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where relief can be experienced – through the body.
Through guided group practices based on martial arts and movement, touch, breathing, and mindfulness techniques, you will learn to reconnect with inner qualities that will allow you to better cope with everyday difficulties, and strengthen skills of regulation, stability, calm, and mental resilience.
During the sessions, we will learn together how to identify and respond to changing situations, paying attention to physical sensations. Later, it will be possible to generalize what we have learned to everyday situations and deal more regulatedly with symptoms of trauma, stress, and anxiety.
What does the program include?
- 12 guided group sessions – consistent structure, safe and inclusive space
- Regulated movement and safe touch – practicing martial arts techniques that direct the nervous system toward relaxation
- Breathing, mindfulness, and practical tools – daily practice of relaxation and control, even at home
- Learning through the body – deep and internal learning, from the body to emotion and thought.
- Research-based process and integrative approach – tailored to those dealing with the consequences and effects of exposure to trauma and extreme or ongoing stress
What will you gain from the program?
- Practicing tools that calm the nervous system
- An experience of confidence, control and presence in the body
- Reduction of feelings of overload, disconnection, or over-arousal
- Strengthening the experience of "I" is continuous and clear, alongside the ability to function in everyday life
It's time to breathe again.
If feelings of stress, anxiety, and post-traumatic symptoms accompany you on a daily basis, if your body no longer feels like home – there is another way.
You don't have to go through this alone, and there are practical tools that can help you regulate your body and deal with life in a more present and calm way.
