The model
What is the SBRT model?
The SBRT work model was built following research and relying on validated methods for somatic (physical) work with post-trauma. At its center is the principle of creating "bottom-up" processes as an effective way to teach the body patterns of regulation that affect the nervous system and form the foundation for processing trauma.
The "Eitan in the Spirit" program includes 12 sessions in which participants will practice techniques from the world of martial arts and movement, mindfulness, and breathing exercises. Participants will acquire movement and mental skills that will assist in the assimilation of physical regulation processes in order to reduce post-traumatic symptoms and increase the ability to adapt to a changing reality.
Research-based working principles: combining movement, emotional regulation, physical-sensory regulation, and neuroplastic synchronization
