To move, to breathe, to stay – even in the midst of pain and difficulty

Finding resilience again

The Steadfast in Spirit program has existed for several years and operates as an intervention program in schools to help improve skills and self-regulation. Eran and Aya's inner calling to assist and support the many communities in the circles of trauma led them to expand the program and adapt it to work with post-traumatic symptoms and stress situations.

The Steadfast in Spirit program is a unique group training program for dealing with symptoms of stress, anxiety, trauma and post-trauma. It is based on martial arts, movement and breathing techniques that improve mental resilience, emotional and physical regulation.

The therapeutic model of the Steadfast in Spirit program emphasizes creating processes of change from the bottom up – from the body to the emotion, from touch to connection. Together, we will practice movement, breathing, coordination, posture, and connection – teaching the body to experience confidence, from the inside out.

The goal: to better cope with symptoms of stress and trauma, strengthen mental resilience, increase the sense of competence, and build a stable, vital, and regulated future – physically, emotionally, and socially.

What is the Steadfast in Spirit program?

How does it work?

The Steadfast in Spirit program connects body and mind through guided group practice, which leads to a real change in the body's sensation and the ability to identify and regulate emotions. Participants experience deep processes, on a physical and emotional level, and succeed in regulating emotional reactions, coping in a calmer and more beneficial way with themselves, their environment, and with and within the relationships in their lives.

The change is built from a tangible experience in the body – through movement, touch, breathing, and human encounter. It is an empowering process that allows for a return to presence in the body and in life, from a sense of security and resilience.

What program participants say:

Nimrod
Participant in the program

I was exposed to traumatic events during my reserve service that affected my daily functioning. In the sessions, I realized how smart my body is and how to work with it instead of against it. Since participating in the program, I feel in control of my life, and much more present in everyday situations.

Songs
Caregiver and participant in the coaching program

I came to the program with a deep burnout from the therapeutic work. The model reconnected me with myself, and gave me back a sense of movement and confidence in my body. Today I combine the tools with my patients.
